# Terms and Conditions
Godlisten Wonder Adventures
Welcome to Godlisten Wonder Adventures. We want every journey with us to be enjoyable, well organised and memorable.
These Terms and Conditions explain how we handle safari bookings, holidays, excursions and other travel arrangements in Tanzania and East Africa. They also outline what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when making a booking.
Please take a moment to read them before confirming your trip. When you accept a quotation and pay the required deposit or full amount, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These conditions form part of the booking agreement between you and Godlisten Wonder Adventures.
## 1. About Our Services
Godlisten Wonder Adventures is a Tanzania-based travel company offering tailor-made safaris, wildlife experiences, cultural tours, beach holidays, mountain adventures and other travel experiences.
We understand that every traveller has different interests, expectations and budgets. That is why we work with you to create itineraries that suit your travel dates, preferences and plans.
Your quotation and confirmed itinerary will explain the destinations, activities, accommodation and services included in your trip.
Some of these services are provided by independent suppliers, such as hotels, lodges, tented camps, airlines, transport companies and activity operators. All arrangements are subject to availability and the relevant supplier conditions.
## 2. Booking and Confirmation
You can request a safari quotation through our website or by contacting us through our official communication channels.
Once we receive your enquiry, we will prepare a quotation based on your preferred destinations, travel dates, group size, accommodation choices and other requirements.
To confirm your booking:
- You must accept the quotation in writing.
- The required deposit must be received.
- We must confirm the availability of the agreed services and reservation.
Your booking will be considered confirmed once we have accepted the reservation and received the required payment.
The person making the booking, known as the lead traveller, is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that everyone in the travelling party is aware of these Terms and Conditions.
## 3. Payment Terms
A deposit of 45% of the total itinerary cost is required to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 65 days before your departure date.
If you make a booking within 65 days of departure, full payment will be required at the time of confirmation.
Airline tickets must be paid for in full before they can be issued or confirmed.
All payments should be made using the payment instructions provided on your official invoice.
If the outstanding balance is not received by the agreed deadline, we reserve the right to review or cancel the reservation, taking into account the applicable cancellation conditions and any commitments already made to suppliers.
## 4. Methods of Payment
We accept payments through the methods officially provided by Godlisten Wonder Adventures.
These may include bank transfers and other approved payment channels specified on your invoice.
Before making a payment, please check that the payment details match the instructions provided through our official communication channels.
Any applicable bank charges, international transfer fees or payment processing fees will be communicated to you.
## 5. Cancellation by the Client
We understand that travel plans can change. If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please send your request to us in writing by email or through another officially accepted communication channel.
The cancellation date will be the date we receive your written request.
The following cancellation charges apply to the itinerary cost, excluding international airline tickets:
| Cancellation period before departure | Cancellation charge |
|---|---:|
| More than 65 days | Deposit is non-refundable |
| 50–65 days | 50% of the total itinerary cost |
| 0–49 days | 100% of the total itinerary cost |
International airline tickets are subject to the airline's own cancellation and refund conditions. Some tickets may be completely non-refundable.
Other costs already committed to third-party suppliers may also be non-refundable where these costs have been disclosed and are applicable.
If you cancel only part of your booking, the cancellation charges will be calculated for the affected traveller or service.
Where a refund is due, we will process it after confirming the amounts recoverable from the relevant suppliers.
## 6. Changes to Confirmed Bookings
We understand that you may want to adjust your travel plans after making a reservation.
If you need to change your itinerary, please send us your request in writing. We will do our best to accommodate it, depending on availability and approval from the relevant suppliers.
Changes may result in additional costs, including:
- Differences in accommodation rates.
- Transport and flight charges.
- National park and conservation fees.
- Supplier amendment charges.
- Additional administrative costs.
An amendment fee of up to €150 may apply when a change involves substantial administrative work or coordination with suppliers. We will let you know about any applicable fee before confirming the change.
Please note that changes requested shortly before departure may not be possible. If we cannot accommodate your request, the original booking arrangements will remain in place unless we agree otherwise in writing.
## 7. Changes to Itineraries and Travel Arrangements
We make every reasonable effort to deliver the services described in your confirmed itinerary.
However, travel sometimes involves circumstances that are outside our control. These may require us to adjust certain arrangements.
Examples include:
- Severe weather.
- Road closures or inaccessible routes.
- National park restrictions.
- Government regulations.
- Security concerns.
- Changes to flight schedules.
- Accommodation availability.
- Natural conditions and wildlife movements.
If a change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and work towards suitable alternatives.
Our aim is to maintain the quality and overall experience of your trip as much as circumstances allow.
Please remember that safaris take place in natural environments. Wildlife sightings, including the Big Five and Great Migration river crossings, cannot be guaranteed.
## 8. Changes in Prices, Taxes and Government Fees
Our quotations are prepared using the accommodation rates, supplier prices, taxes, park fees and other charges applicable at the time of preparation.
Government authorities and service providers may change their fees or introduce new charges. These may include:
- National park entrance fees.
- Conservation and concession fees.
- Tourism taxes and levies.
- Airport and transport charges.
- Accommodation rates.
- Other mandatory service fees.
If a change affects your confirmed itinerary, we will explain the situation and notify you of any additional cost before requesting further payment.
## 9. Website Prices and Quotations
Prices displayed on our website are intended as a general guide unless specifically stated otherwise.
Unless indicated differently, safari prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and may be based on two people sharing accommodation.
The final cost of your safari may depend on:
- The number of travellers.
- Travel dates and season.
- Accommodation category.
- Room occupancy.
- Safari duration.
- Transport arrangements.
- Park and conservation fees.
- Special requests and additional activities.
A price displayed on our website does not automatically confirm a booking.
Your final price will be provided in an official quotation and invoice from Godlisten Wonder Adventures.
Unless stated otherwise, quotations remain valid for 14 days from the date they are issued. All quotations are subject to availability and confirmation from the relevant suppliers.
## 10. What Is Not Included
Unless specifically listed in your confirmed itinerary, the following expenses are generally not included in the quoted price:
- International flights.
- Visa and passport expenses.
- Travel and medical insurance.
- Personal expenses.
- Tips and gratuities.
- Optional excursions and activities.
- Laundry services.
- Alcoholic and other personal beverages.
- Accommodation before or after the arranged itinerary.
- Excess baggage charges.
- Any other service not specifically listed as included.
Please review your quotation carefully so that you understand exactly what is included in your trip and what you will need to arrange separately.
## 11. Passports, Visas and Travel Documents
Every traveller is responsible for making sure they have the correct travel documents before departure.
Depending on your nationality and destination, these may include a valid passport, visa, entry permit, travel certificate or other required documentation.
We recommend checking the latest entry and visa requirements with the relevant government authorities or embassies well before travelling.
Passport validity requirements can vary, so please confirm the requirements that apply to your nationality and destination.
While we may provide general travel guidance, we cannot guarantee visa approval or accept responsibility for entry refusals caused by missing, invalid or incomplete travel documents.
Any additional costs resulting from incorrect or missing documents will be the responsibility of the traveller.
## 12. Traveller Details and Booking Information
Please make sure that all information provided during the booking process is accurate.
This includes traveller names, passport details, travel dates and other information required to arrange your trip.
We recommend checking all details carefully when you receive your booking confirmation.
If you need to correct or change any information after confirmation, additional administrative or supplier charges may apply. We will explain any applicable costs before processing the change.
We cannot accept responsibility for additional expenses resulting from incorrect information supplied by the client.
## 13. Medical Conditions and Special Requirements
Please let us know before confirming your booking if anyone in your travelling party has a medical condition, disability, mobility limitation, dietary requirement or other special need that may affect the trip.
This allows us to discuss suitable arrangements and check whether the planned activities and accommodation can meet your requirements.
Some safari destinations are remote and may involve long road journeys, uneven terrain and limited access to medical facilities.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate any requirements disclosed to us. However, certain destinations and activities may not be suitable for every traveller.
## 14. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller obtains comprehensive travel insurance before departure.
Your insurance should cover you and all members of your travelling party for unexpected events during the trip.
We recommend looking for cover that includes:
- Medical expenses.
- Emergency medical evacuation.
- Repatriation.
- Trip cancellation or interruption.
- Lost or delayed baggage.
- Travel delays and missed connections.
- Personal liability.
Please check that your policy covers the activities included in your itinerary, particularly safaris, mountain trekking and other adventure experiences.
Godlisten Wonder Adventures does not provide travel insurance and cannot be responsible for losses that should be covered by your insurance policy.
## 15. Accommodation and Third-Party Suppliers
Your safari may involve services provided by independent hotels, lodges, tented camps, airlines, transport companies, professional guides and activity operators.
These suppliers operate independently and are subject to their own availability, booking policies and operating conditions.
Accommodation descriptions and facility information are based on details provided by the respective suppliers.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the services arranged match your confirmed itinerary.
If a supplier becomes unable to provide an agreed service, we will do our best to arrange a suitable alternative.
## 16. Flights and Transport Services
Flights and other transport services are subject to the operating conditions, schedules, baggage rules and policies of the relevant providers.
Airline schedules may change because of weather, operational requirements, technical issues or other circumstances outside our control.
We cannot guarantee airline schedules or take responsibility for decisions made independently by airlines.
Please allow sufficient time for international connections and check your flight documents carefully before travelling.
Any flight changes, cancellations or refunds will be handled according to the applicable airline conditions.
## 17. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Sometimes events beyond our reasonable control can affect travel arrangements. These circumstances may include:
- Natural disasters.
- Severe weather and flooding.
- War or civil unrest.
- Government restrictions.
- Epidemics or pandemics.
- Terrorism or security threats.
- Strikes and industrial disputes.
- Airport or road closures.
- Major transport disruptions.
- Other extraordinary events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
If such an event affects your trip, we will communicate with you and make reasonable efforts to find alternative arrangements.
Any refunds or recoverable amounts will depend on the services already provided, supplier policies and applicable legal requirements.
## 18. Our Responsibilities
We take our responsibility for organising your trip seriously. We will use reasonable care when preparing itineraries, coordinating bookings and arranging the services agreed with you.
Some services are provided by independent suppliers, and we cannot guarantee the performance of services that are entirely under their control.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
We also ask travellers to follow the instructions of their safari guides, drivers, accommodation providers and relevant authorities throughout the journey.
You remain responsible for your personal belongings, travel documents and conduct during the trip.
## 19. Wildlife and Safari Activities
A safari is an experience in nature, where wildlife movements, weather and road conditions can be unpredictable.
Although our guides will do their best to provide memorable wildlife experiences, sightings of particular animals cannot be guaranteed.
Your itinerary may also be adjusted depending on conditions within national parks and conservation areas.
For everyone's safety and the protection of wildlife, travellers must follow park regulations and the instructions of their professional safari guides.
Please do not disturb, feed, chase or approach wildlife outside the activities and instructions permitted by your guide.
We reserve the right to change or discontinue an activity when necessary to protect the safety of travellers or the environment.
## 20. Traveller Conduct
We want everyone to enjoy a safe and positive travel experience.
Travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, safari guides, drivers, accommodation staff, local communities and the natural environment.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if someone's behaviour creates a serious safety risk, causes significant disruption or violates applicable laws and regulations.
Any additional costs resulting from such behaviour may be charged to the responsible traveller, subject to applicable law.
## 21. Complaints and Problems During Your Trip
We want to know if something is not going as expected.
If you experience a problem during your trip, please inform your safari guide, tour representative or the relevant service provider as soon as possible. This gives us an opportunity to understand the situation and try to resolve it while you are still travelling.
If the matter cannot be resolved during the trip, please send us a written complaint within 28 days after returning.
Include your booking details, a description of the problem and any supporting information that may help us investigate.
We will review your complaint and respond appropriately.
Nothing in this procedure affects any legal rights you may have under applicable law.
## 22. Privacy and Personal Information
To organise your trip, we may need to collect personal information such as your name, contact details, passport information and travel preferences.
We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, manage bookings, arrange payments and coordinate travel services.
Where necessary, relevant information may be shared with the suppliers involved in delivering your itinerary.
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
## 23. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on the Godlisten Wonder Adventures website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Please do not copy, reproduce, distribute or use our website content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.
## 24. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any dispute arising from a booking or services provided by Godlisten Wonder Adventures will be handled in accordance with applicable Tanzanian law and by the competent courts or dispute-resolution bodies with jurisdiction.
## 25. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business operations or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on our official website.
For an existing confirmed booking, the conditions accepted when the reservation was confirmed will generally continue to apply, unless a change is agreed in writing or required by applicable law.
## 26. Acceptance of These Terms and Conditions
By confirming a booking and paying the required deposit or full amount, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
If anything is unclear, please ask us for clarification before confirming your reservation.
